The Lake House is Daylesford’s premiere dinning experience. Built and operated by the Wolf-Tasker family since 1984 :  Culinary Director Alla Wolf-Tasker resident artist Allan Wolf-Tasker and daughter Larissa work with a team of 120 staff to treat guests to their unique sense of hospitality at their special property.

Alla Wolf-Tasker has designed a menu specially for ChillOut (read this without your mouth watering!):

4 Course Tasting Menu with signature beverage package:

TO BEGIN – Chefs choice of canapes

FIRST COURSE – Trout ‘Nicoise’ – Poached ocean trout, local potatoes, green beans, olives and soft boiled egg

SECOND COURSE -Roast confit duck ‘Peking style’ in a coriander crepe, gingered vegetables, orange glaze

THIRD COURSE – 12 hour lamb, herb and garlic crust, autumn cassoulet , salsa verde, tapenade

FOURTH COURSE – DESSERT. Buttermilk, caramel apple, honey , granola.

And wait! there is more… The entertainment for this event is by the wonderful Wendy Stapleton. In 1979 Wendy signed with Mushroom Records and formed WENDY AND THE ROCKETTS, touring Australia and overseas with acts including BRIAN ADAMS, Z.Z.TOP, & HALL AND OATES .Her self penned single PLAY THE GAME went to No. 2 on the National Charts. She has been performing cabaret of DUSTY SPRINGFIELD AND DORIS DAY for a number of years to high acclaim.Up close and personal with Wendy – This will truly be a performance to remember.
